Set in a former 16th-century convent, this museum dives deep into Bordeaux and Aquitaine’s history, with more than 70,000 items on display — from prehistoric tools to objects linked to the city’s past as a busy port.

Grey’s outstanding Westerns became movies that launched the careers of cinema mainstays, and his novels have been published in over 20 languages, with estimated annual sales between 500,000 and one million copies worldwide. Now his cabin stands as a historical site for visitors. While not everything in the cabin is original, certain pieces allow visitors to visualize Grey’s life in the early 20th century. Science Oxford was founded in 1985, as The Oxford Trust by Sir Martin and Lady Audrey Wood, it is a charitable organisation based in Oxford, England. It created the Oxfordshire Science Festival in the early 1990´s. Today, Science Oxford provides a central Oxford home for its public engagement work. These includes the annual Festival of Science and the discovery zone where schools and families can interact with various science activities.
