Piazza Vittorio is the main square of the city, and the biggest in Europe completely surrounded by arcades. It is located at the end of Via Po, overlooking the river and the bizarre church Gran Madre. Under its arches, the square houses restaurants, cafés and bars of all sorts, and by night it turns into one of the centres of Turin's movida. Don't miss a visit here by night, even just to admire its splendour enhanced by lights and shadows on the facades surrounding the square.

The River Gambia National Park (or Baboon Island) is a collection of 5 river islands inhabited by all manner of indigenous animal species, from the endangered hippopotamus to omnipresent primates - bonobos and chimpanzees. The best way to experience this natural reserve is to stay overnight - the Chimpanzee Rehabilitation Project Camp (Badi Mayo) offers all-inclusive stays in safari tents on the water.

The National Museum of Gambia contains a vast collection of artifacts dating back to various points in the nation's past - from prehistoric and pre-colonial times to the most recent era. Items on display range from folk culture pieces to historic documents and maps of the region.

Port Zante is the largest cruise port in Saint Kitts and Nevis. The pier area consists of three separate piers designated for cruise ships. The pier area can currently accommodate up to four large cruise ships simultaneously. On busy days, when more than four ships arrive, the ships without a pier either use the cargo port or tender passengers ashore. The Port terminal includes various amenities such as restaurants, shops, cafes and a car park. The port's location could not be better, as it is only a short ten-minute walk to downtown Basseterre or "The Circus" as the locals call it. There is a duty-free shopping area where passengers can buy different goods tax-free. However, in order to benefit from this duty-free rates, local vendors might ask for a proof of non-residence such as a cruise ship card, a foreign driver's license, or a passport.
