Prešeren Square is the centre of the old city centre of Ljubljana. Its image is distinctly marked by the recognisable red façade of the Franciscan church, the memorial dedicated to France Prešeren, the famous musician lending his name to the Square, and the well-known Triple Bridge by Jože Plečnik. Immediately nearby are the Tourist Information Centre and the Central Market.

Duthir Park is one of the best loved parks in Aberdeen, housing one of the largest covered gardens in Europe. Exotic plants and flowers from both tropical and arid climates can be admired at the Winter Garden, including Britain's largest collection of cacti. Additionally, just outside the covered gardens there is a lovely Japanese garden that commemorates the victims of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

The National Gallery of Slovenia, the main museum of the country's history, displays permanent collections featuring Slovene artists from the Middle Ages to the 20th century, along with works by European painters. The gallery also houses the original Fountain of the Three Carniolan Rivers (Robba Fountain), while a replica stands in front of the Town Hall.

Nagyerdei Park is the home of Hungary’s most modern sports arenas. The brand new, state-of-the-art arena, Nagyerdei Stadium, was inaugurated in 2014. With a seating capacity of 20,000, it promises to become a fantastic venue of competitive team events and individual training sessions as well as concerts and other programs of cultural interest. The stadium’s unique architectural features boast a spectacular “suspension sidewalk.” Complete with a running track, the 1,100-m-long structure skirts the entire building at a height of several meters. This will make joggers feel that they do altitude training smack in the middle of the flattest region in Hungary.
