上野动物园成立于1882年，是日本最古老的动物园。它拥有3000多只动物，400多种不同的物种。东园为大熊猫馆、日本动物、哺乳动物的森林和海洋生物。西园为非洲动物，爬虫馆，小哺乳动物和一个儿童动物园。
