On your voyage of discovery along the banks of the Trave, you will pass the tranquil Museum Harbour on Untertrave. Lovingly restored, traditional sailing ships are lined up here like a row of pearls, and sometimes in pairs when times are busy. With their proud masts, burnished brass and wooden ship planks, they are real gems at the quay and genuine witnesses to another era of shipping. You can enjoy a magnificent view of these wooden witnesses of seafaring from Lübeck’s new favourite spot – the Drehbrückenplatz.

Bikes are an important part of the transportation system in Vancouver. Navigate the numerous cycle paths and bike routes, ranging from easy, flat terrain around Stanley Park to mountain biking on the famous North Shore. You can safely move through the city at your pace and see more than you would on foot or by bus. Vancouver's moderate climate makes it possible to cycle almost year-round. Alghero is known for its red coral, and here at the small Coral Museum you can watch an exhibition on the history of the old tradition where they harvest these water plants. The corals are then used for making unique jewellery, that you can find everywhere on the island.
