Barona offers a variety of cars, including sprint cars, street stocks, pony stocks, and factory stocks, all racing on a quarter-mile dirt track. If you are a car-races aficionado or even a race driver, this would be a really enjoyable place for you: since visitors can enter the pits to view the cars up close and speak to the drivers at the end of each event.

The Faro Municipal Museum is home to the region's diverse archaeological finds. Set in a former monastery, it features gardens established in 1540 and two-storey cloisters at its center. Among the most remarkable items is a Roman floor mosaic from the 4th-century detailed with the head of the Roman god Neptune.

Kronoskogen, a forested area between Ängelholm and Skälderviken, features a diverse array of pine, birch, and other trees, creating a natural shield against sea winds and sand. The western part, Ängelholm's coastal forest, is a designated nature reserve. Explore its marked hiking trails that range from 2.8 to 10 km and connect with the Skåneleden trail. Enjoy fishing or paddling in Rönne å, and find well-prepared rest areas. The area's diverse flora and fauna, including rare species like Goodyera repens orchid (Knärot) and Alpine enchanter's-nightshade (Dvärghäxört), add to its charm.

The Fernleigh Track, part of the decommissioned Adamstown-Belmont coal train line, now serves as a destination for a highly enjoyable 15-kilometre bike ride. The track starts in the centre of Newcastle, at Adamstown train station, and goes through brick tunnels, attractive bushland and wetlands. The track is well-maintained for safe cycling, jogging and walking. The gradients are gentle, as befits an old train line, so there won't be any steep ups and downs. Stop at the Fernleigh Café in Adamstown for a delicious bite before heading back.
