Pizzo Calabro is a seaport perched on a steep cliff overlooking the Gulf of Saint Euphemia, around 34 km from Lamezia. The church of San Giorgio and the nearby castle are worth a visit, as well as the charming narrow streets where you can wander around and discover the Italian historical heritage. Moreover, a must when you visit this area is to taste the delicious "Tartufo", a local ice cream, well-known in Italy.

Dominica is renowned as a premier whale watching destination for enthusiasts worldwide. Beneath the surface of the Caribbean, deep underwater canyons create an ideal habitat for an array of cetacean species. The star of the show is without a doubt the sperm whale, which is often found in close proximity to the shore, and other delightful companions such as bottlenose and spotted dolphins too adorn the seascape. The Fall River Hydroplant was built in 1909 by F.O. Stanley to produce electricity for the Stanley Hotel and surrounding areas. It was restored from flood damage resulting from a 1982 flood and opened to the public in 2002. It is generally open only in the summer.

The Union Station was completed in 1900 and functioned as a passenger terminal until 1979. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the landmark building experienced years of neglect until it was converted into an opulent hotel, detailed with wrought iron and Italian marble. Its lobby features a barrel-vaulted, 65-feet-high ceiling enclosed by stained glass. The station looks spectacular from the outside.
