The enchanting Kiso Valley, nestled in the heart of Japan, is a timeless treasure, where history breathes through its ancient pathways and rustic architecture. Isola Tavolara is a little island located southeast of Olbia and is dominated by an imposing stone towering at over 564 metres. This is the perfect spot for nature lovers, divers and for soaking-up the rays on the beach of Spiaggia Spalmatore.

This museum used to be a former convent, founded in 1515. It contains an intriguing selection of religious art and crafts dating back to the 12th century, including religious silverware, sculptures, paintings, and ceramics by Basque artists. The permanent exhibition is divided into three large sections: sculptures and paintings, gold work, and garments and ornament.

Fig Tree Bay is the most precious gem in this coastal tiara and is named after the solitary fig tree that was planted here by eastern invaders in the 17th century. On the headland of the bay one can see the recently revealed, glass-covered Hellenistic tombs. A selection of watersports abound at these beaches, ranging from skiing and paragliding to snorkelling and scuba diving, and boats wait on the piers to take you on unforgettable trips. The bay also has excellent facilities, with sunbeds and parasols available for hire. It provides disabled access and is serviced by a lifeguard.
