Rarotonga International Airport (RAR)

The Rarotonga International Airport is located on the main island Rarotonga, 4.5 km from Avarua, where most accommodation houses provide transfers from the airport. Raro Tours operate an airport shuttle. Air Rarotonga operates flights several times a day to Aitutaki and to other islands during the week (the longest trip takes about 4.5 hours, the shortest under an hour). Island passes and island combination packages are a good way to sample a few islands in a convenient way!
