Spanning 92 acres, the Morris Arboretum & Gardens is a living museum dedicated to promoting education and community engagement through horticulture. With over 12,000 labeled trees, plants, and flowers, it offers an immersive botanical experience. Visitors can enjoy guided tours during the spring and fall, deepening their appreciation for the diverse plant life. One of the highlights is the Tree Adventure exhibit and its canopy walk, which provides a unique and exciting perspective of the surrounding flora, fostering a deeper connection to the natural world.

An ornately decorated Hellenistic-period mansion, this famous house retains some of the 3rd century architectural features of the building which stood here before it. Inside, there is a treasure trove of ornaments and statues.

Built to celebrate Mohamed's spiritual journey, this imposing Mosque is open to visitors of all faiths. More sober than the Dome, it was built in an early Islamic style; however, due to its complicated history, it features elements from different art styles, such as Romanesque arches, Corinthian columns, and Italian marble. The Mosque used to host the King of Jerusalem and the Templar Knights during the Crusades era.

Only minutes away from the city centre lies Opol Beach, a long stretch of land where several smaller beaches sit next to each other. Boat trips to a nearby island are available. There are a number of resorts directly in the area, and affordable cottages for rent.
