Luxembourg

Luxembourg, with its modest 1000 square mile area, holds many unexpected treasures. From UNESCO-recognised medieval fortifications to the prized Moselle wines, a lively arts scene, cutting-edge architectural marvels, and influential EU institutions, this tiny European country has something for everyone. Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy skiing on the excellent slopes of the northern Ardennes and exploring the scenic trails of the Valley of Seven Castes or Mullerthal with its unique sandstone formations.

Bergamo

In the Alpine foothills, just 50 km from Milan, Bergamo is the most striking city in Lombardy. Built on two levels, the Lower City is more modern and dynamic, whilst the famous ‘Upper City’ boasts a stunning historic centre full of monuments and works of art. In the area around the city the Iseo Lake is well worth a visit, as are the sanctuary at Caravaggio and Crespi d’Adda – the most important company town in Italy, listed as a world heritage site by UNESCO.

Discover Amersfoort

Amersfoort is a beautiful city located in the middle of the country, which makes it the perfect city to discover the Netherlands. Its biggest treasure is its history. You can really feel the medieval city that was established in the 13th Century through the many monuments, little streets, canals and details. The historical city is surrounded by beautiful swathes of nature, which makes it a unique city. Amersfoort is the easiest city to reach in the Netherlands, both by car and by train. It’s only 30 minutes to Schiphol Airport! Fans of history will immediately feel at home in Amersfoort. The city obtained its city rights in 1259, and the history is still clearly visible in the centre. There are 650 monuments, like the Koppelpoort, the Onze Lieve Vrouwe tower and the Wall Houses, which are all worth the visit. More than a million tourists, both Dutch and from abroad, visit the city annually, who love to visit these historical highlights.

Rønne

Rønne is the largest town on the Danish island of Bornholm in the Baltic Sea, offering beautiful nature, charming squares, and half-timbered houses. Bornholm is located on the western part of the island, and the idyllic harbour today is busy with fishing boats, cargo ships, and ferries. Hoi An

Lyon

Lyon is commonly referred to as the gastronomy capital. In the past, this label was associated with sauces and a petit-bourgeois small-town complex. However, with the arrival of the TGV high-speed train connecting Lyon to Paris and Marseille, as well as the winning streak of Olympique Lyonnais in various League Championships, Lyon underwent a transformation. The city now boasts daring architecture, bustling cafés, and avant-garde exhibitions, ushering in a new era.

Nuremberg - City of History

Some may think of Nuremberg as a Renaissance city of European standing where artists and men of learning such as Albrecht Durer and Willibald Pirckheimer worked, where Martin Behaim devised the first world globe, and where Peter Henlein made a fob watch tick for the first time. All those images make up the many-faceted mosaic of Nuremberg. Others may remember the Nuremberg Trials and the city abused by the Nazis as the City of the Nazi Party Rallies. With its rich historical heritage and cultural scene, Nuremberg is a destination well worth a visit.
