The Bergerac Tobacco Museum is located in a beautiful turreted building called Pyrarède House. The museum's five exhibits showcase the history of tobacco in connection to the city of Bergerac, from its discovery to its social use.

La Palma, shaped over millions of years by volcanic eruptions, is one of the few places in the world to have coal-black beaches. These are given their colour by lava rocks instead of ocean sand. The colour does not stain clothes and even boasts higher heat absorption, which allows one to relax on the beach at milder temperatures, too. Some of the most popular beaches are Playa de Santa Cruz de La Palma, Charco Verde Beach, Playa del faro de Fuencaliente and Playa de Nogales.

If you're seeking to beat the Sonoran heat but still want to climb the mountainside, head to AZ on the Rocks. As Arizona’s largest indoor climbing gym, the Rocks has walls nearly 30 feet high. Aside from just having fun, the Rocks also offer an opportunity to work on climbing techniques and learn the ropes. Children under 18 must have a signed waiver allowing them to climb.

White sand and turquoise water are the key ingredients to Monastir's beaches. The most obvious choice would be to head straight to Karaia (Qaraiya) beach, which is one of the focal points of the city. However, it does get very busy in high season. For those willing to venture a little further afield for some R&R, the beaches of Sousse such as Bou Jaafar and Las Vegas Beach are particularly beautiful. The coast between Monastir and Sousse is a bit more utilitarian but could prove to be an interesting adventure as the locals will often come there to cast a fishing line on the beaches and for all horse lovers, there is riding and racing further inland at the Monastir Hippodrome and the Eki Club. Just beware that there is not a lot of shade on offer along the waterfront, so be sure to pack the SPFs.
