Housed in a beautifully restored Jesuit school building from 1612, the Museo Naval del Caribe covers in some detail the 500 years of Cartagena's maritime history. You'll find sunken ships, cannons, ship's bells, muskets, and other treasures here. The descriptions are in Spanish, so it's a good idea to get a guided tour.

The Museum of Modern Art in Chapultepec park focuses on displaying modern Mexican art, mainly from the decade of 1930 onwards. The vast collection is presented through temporary exhibitions, usually three or four at a time. MAM is without a doubt the best place to see the widest possible variety of modern Mexican art within a short span of time. Frida Kahlo fans will always find a few of her works on display. Apart from the exhibitions in the main building, you'll find a large garden with numerous sculptures and a cozy cafe to keep your energy levels up.

Gardaland is Italy’s biggest theme park, located moments from Lake Garda. Take the regular train from Brescia to Peschiera del Garda (around 25 minutes) to get there quick - then you only have to take a shuttle-bus to the theme park itself. The Militärhistorisches Museum der Bundeswehr lets you explore the world of military history of Germany. There are over 1.2 million items to be found, including 800 land, air, and sea vehicles, more than 1000 guns and even flamethrowers.
