The National Gallery of Modern Art houses some of the world's largest exhibitions, boasting thousands of Modern Art works made by Indian iconic artists. Located on the Rajpath near the India Gate, it offers some beautiful gardens where to relax after an intensive journey through India's modern history.

This historic art museum is dedicated to the work of Basilio Cascella and some of his family members, who were key figures in the Art Nouveau movement. Take a look at the pieces of furniture, paintings, pottery, pictures and postcards in their former workshop and be amazed by the creative genius of this family.

Matsuyama Castle stands on a large, wooded hill right in the middle of town, with an extensive moat and earth ramparts that dominate the city centre. Unlike many Japanese castles that were destroyed and rebuilt of concrete, Matsuyama Castle remains in its original state of wood and plaster. The castle offers spectacular views of the city, mountains and sea, particularly from the top of the keep. Matsuyama Castle houses a fascinating collection of samurai weapons and armour, and information about the history and structure of the castle.

Olofsfors Ironworks is one of Sweden's most authentic and well-preserved ironworks environments. The foundry, forges, the manor house and residential buildings are in excellent condition and open for tours year-round. In the summer, the area is open daily, and several artists and craftsmen are at place in their workshops. The manor house now serves as a restaurant, and the old school building houses a café and shop.
