The New Hampshire Highland Games & Festival, one of the largest and most vibrant Scottish festivals in the Northeast, has been running for nearly 50 years and celebrates Scottish heritage with passion and excitement. Held annually at Loon Mountain Resort in Lincoln, the festival offers a dynamic mix of athletic competitions, music, food, and cultural events. Enjoy thrilling events like the caber toss and other traditional heavy athletics, watch Highland dance and pipe and drum performances, and shop for Scottish goods in the Vendor Village. The festival also features seminars on whisky tasting, Scottish history, and more. Housed in a beautiful blue building dating back to the 14th century, this exquisite centre for temporary art exhibitions and cultural activities contains masterpieces from the 14th century until today. There is also a pleasant small cafeteria in the backyard.

This futuristic glass, steel and concrete palace has the same proportions as Maison Carré. Only a small part of the building is visible, with five of its nine floors underground. Many good exhibitions are held here.
