If souvenirs are what you are looking for, There are many shops closely spaced close to the port where you can buy jewellery, rum, cigars and other gifts. If you want to pick up some last-minute toiletries or snacks, there is a Ram's Super market at walking distance from the port.

As Port Zante is located right in Basseterre's city centre, getting there by ferry or taxi is relatively easy. There are also mini vans called "route taxis" If you are going to Port Zante in a route taxi, look for one that has "Basseterre" written on the front sign.
