This museum is a smaller branch of the one located on the Grand Turk island, but plans are being made to expand its size, collection and exhibition spaces. It now hosts different anchors that belonged to centuries-old ships and a 1700s cannon, as well as a reproduction of a 1800s home and two examples of a Caicos Sloop, the signature vessel of the island.

The third largest city on Crete, Rethymno came to life during the Venetian era and is home to many historic buildings, notably hilltop Rethymno's Fortress, which dominates the city's skyline. In the Old Town, Venetian architectural elements coexist with Ottoman ones, creating a unique charm. During spring, the Rethymno Carnival takes place, which is a century-old celebration that has become an institution famous throughout the country.

For a whirlwind tour of Pakistan's cultural history, a visit to Saidpur is a must. Located just one kilometre from Islamabad, this former Hindu village was once renowned for its pottery. Today, it features a Model Village showcasing handicrafts from various regions across the country.

Portland is home to the nation's largest wooded urban park—Forest Park. A short hike in, and you'll find it hard to believe that civilization is just steps away. With 70 miles of trails winding through the forest and offering views of the Willamette River, you'll often have nature all to yourself. However, you're also likely to run into locals jogging or walking their dogs—expect to be greeted with a friendly "hello." If you have the time, hike up to Pittock Mansion, a stunning French Renaissance-style château that once belonged to Henry Pittock, a prominent publisher and businessman. Today, the mansion serves as a historic house museum open to visitors, offering panoramic views of the city. Another popular destination within Forest Park is the so-called "Witch's Castle"—the moss-covered ruins of an abandoned stone house. Despite its eerie name, there’s no record of witchcraft here. However, legend has it that its original inhabitant was the first person in Oregon to be sentenced to execution for murder in 1859.
