Aker Brygge is a lively and very popular area situated right by the fjord. It has witnessed enormous development since the days when it used to be a shipyard up until the 80s. Now, visitors and locals come here for shopping, al fresco dining at one of the countless restaurants and bistros, or just to take a stroll along the waterfront. Tjuvholmen is an area located on a peninsula adjacent to Aker Brygge, between Pipervika and Filipstad. It has also undergone remarkable transformations throughout its history. Once a bustling dock, shipyard, and warehouse district, Tjuvholmen has evolved into a modern hub characterised by innovative architecture and bustling with stylish apartments and trendy restaurants. Tjuvholme also hosts many art galleries, a sculpture park, and a city beach. Here you'll also find the Astrup Fearnley Museum of Modern Art, housed in a spectacular wooden building designed by Renzo Piano.

The Wall Museum is located in the basement of the "Casa del Paso" building, on the Salesas Campus of the Miguel Hernández University. It also houses an interesting and well organised archaeological site, set up after various stages of excavation between 1998 and 2000. Significant architectural heritage sites are well conserved: The town wall, four watchtowers dating back to the Almohad era (Designated Cultural sites since 14/12/1998), Arab baths, Islamic and early medieval streets and homes, a Gothic palace and architectural remains of the Casa del Paso (17th Century). Furthermore, remains dating back from the second half of the 12th Century to the 20th Century have been recovered. During the visit, around the perimeter path and glazed walkways, there is also a variety of complementary resources to help interpret the findings, such as display panels, scale models, signposts, display cases and a video.

At the Prague Zoo, you will see a diverse variety of animals in well-maintained grounds. It is worth enjoying a day walking around and learning more about different animal species who are looked after here. The zoo is easy to access from downtown Prague.

With approximately 3,500 stalls spread throughout the winding streets of Madrid's oldest residential neighborhood, El Rastro is considered the largest flea market in Europe. However, the best treasures can often be found on the side streets. As pickpocketing is common in the area, it's important to keep a close watch on your belongings.
