The Cape Pallarenda Conservation Park is a 44-hectare protected conservation park 10 kilometres northeast of Townsville. The park offers 15 walking and mountain biking trails of varying lengths and difficulty, fishing and boating, bird watching and shell collecting. Cape Pallarenda was a strategic defence location in World War II and structures from that era can be spotted along the walking trails. The former Cape Pallarenda Quarantine Station is now heritage-listed. It was built in 1915–1916 using the materials brought over from the original quarantine station on Magnetic Island.

Huaisheng Mosque boasts Guangta is believed to be the world’s oldest minaret outside Mecca dating back to the 7th Century. The mosque was the pivotal point of the 15th-century foreign quarter but is open only for Muslims or tour groups.

Eger has favourable bicycle infrastructure, the town is a popular destination with active tourists. Bicycles can be transported in Hungary by train, on coaches it is not possible. Have a ride and if you feel like it, bike further to the Bükk mountains! At busy roads there are separated bike roads so even the small ones can enjoy it safe! The most interesting part of the road is near Dobó square where you can bike really on the coast of Eger-stream. We recomment to try it!
