During the summer, South Harbour Park turns into a vibrant playa, teeming with life and activity for all to enjoy. Amongst waving palms, volleyball courts, and ice cream kiosks, visitors can engage in beach activities, creating a lively atmosphere. There is also the opportunity to borrow sports equipment for free via Fritidsbanken. Additionally, tour boats beckon from South Harbour, ready to ferry visitors into the enchanting archipelago. As the seasons shift to winter, the park adapts, offering warmth by fireside seats with views of the popular ice track leading to Gråsjälören and the Northern Harbor. Weekends are infused with family-friendly activities, making South Harbour a dynamic destination year-round.

Across the Grand Harbour, to the south of Valletta, are the historic fortified towns of Vittoriosa, Cospicua and Senglea, commonly referred to as the three cities of Cottonera. If you only have time for one of them, Vittoriosa is the one most worth a visit. Here you'll find Fort St Angelo, the Inquisitor's Palace, and the Vittoriosa waterfront, which was refurbished in the early 2000s to once again reach up to its former glory.

Crossing the streets in front of the Shibuya Station is an experience on its own. Approximately 3,000 people cross the road at a time. Many street artists gather in this area to show their performances. You can also find the statue of the famous and loyal dog Hachikō between the station and the intersection. The crossing is most electrifying after dark, particularly on Friday and Saturday evenings, when neon signs and enormous screens bathe the crowds in a kinetic glow. For the best perspective, head to Mag’s Park, the rooftop observatory atop the Shibuya 109-2 department store, which offers a panoramic view of the human tide below.
