Gracing the city's postcards, the iconic Palm Jumeirah is an astounding feat of mankind in the form of a series of artificial archipelagos in the emerald waters of the Arabian Gulf. From above, it takes the form of a stylised palm tree. At ground level, it has some of the city's most popular beach clubs, celebrity chef restaurants and luxury hotels such as Atlantis, The Palm. The newest attractions here include The Pointe, a waterfront hub for dining and shopping experiences, and Palm West Beach. Head to The View at Palm Jumeirah, where a 240-metre-high observation deck presents the most impressive views.

Musée Costi is located in the cellar beneath Presbytere Saint Jacques and showcases a number of bronze statues by the Greek sculptor Constantin Papachristopoulos (more commonly known as Costi), who gave all the sculptures to the town of Bergerac to be displayed to the public.

The Museum of Belize is an art and history museum, built between the years 1854 and 1857 while Belize was still under Britain's rule. It initially served as a prison and then, in 2002, it was transformed into a museum. Divided into three distinct sections — History, Exhibits, and Activities — the museum is home to several exhibits that delve into the past of the city, the people that inhabited the British Colony of British Honduras, and the pivotal events that have shaped modern-day Belize.

One of Spain’s major wine producing regions is found in the area around Valladolid. Most of the actual bodegas don’t admit visitors, so this museum, which offers wine-tasting, guided tours, winery visits, is a good alternative. It is located in Peñafiel´s wonderful old castle.
