The Skylon Tower is located in the heart of the tourism district in Niagara Falls. It is such an iconic attraction that it is recognized internationally for defining the unique Niagara Falls skyline. During a guided tour of the dam wall on the 107-metre-high and almost 500-metre-long “Mooser-Sperre” visitors can discover how clean electricity can be generated from 160 million cubic metres of water. The "Electricity Adventure World“provides insights into the fascinating world of eternal ice and explains the interplay between the glacier, power plant construction and electricity generation.

Founded in the 16th century by the Spanish, Rincón is the oldest settlement not only of Bonaire but the entire Dutch Caribbean. Its location, in the valley, once provided shelter from pirates. Today, it offers great hiking options with breathtaking views. As a cultural centre, it is home to attractions such as the rock formations of Gruta Lourdes, a pilgrimage site, and the Kas Krioyo, an authentic Bonairean building that currently houses a museum. The island's only distillery, Cadushy, is also located here, and it is worth timing your visit so you can celebrate with the locals on Rincón Day on 30 April.

Moco Museum packs big-name modern and contemporary art into the 1904 Villa Alsberg, a townhouse steps from the Rijksmuseum. Since 2016, its intimate (if somewhat cramped) rooms have showcased Banksy, Basquiat and Kusama alongside rising stars, all sourced from private collections. The permanent Banksy exhibition shares space with rotating shows, while the gift shop peddles cheeky art merch. Expect queues for Yayoi Kusama’s infinity rooms or Warhol’s pop pieces; early mornings or late afternoons ease the squeeze. More accessible than scholarly, it’s ideal for art newcomers or those short on time.
