Janko Kráľ Park is a park in Bratislava's Petržalka borough, south of the Danube. It is located in the northern part of Petržalka, bordered by the Danube in the north, the Old Bridge access road in the east, a main road in the south and the Nový Most access road in the west. Located between the Old and the New (SNP) Bridge, this is the oldest public park in Central Europe and one of the oldest central European parks. The massive trees are complemented by small architectural forms: the Gothic gazebo that was originally a tower of the Franciscan Church is the most notable example. Rest in the shade of ginkgo bilobas, dawn redwoods and the gigantic plane tree that is over 200 years old.

The whole of the Old Town in Dubrovnik is surrounded by the city walls which served as a defence against attack from the sea. The wall stretches nearly two kilometres and is as high as 25 metres in some places. A walk on the walls provides the ideal opportunity to enjoy the medieval and baroque splendours of the Old Town.

The Rialto Bridge is one of the several bridges crossing Canal Grande. Be prepared to meet many other tourists here since this is one of the most well-known landmarks of Venice. The architecture is impressive, especially considering it was built on approximately 12,000 wooden pilings over 400 years ago.

Torcello is a small island that is usually not included on the typical tourist path in Venice. On this sparsely populated island, you'll find the oldest Byzantine church of Venice, which is truly amazing during the sunset, after which it even gets a little spooky.
