Mojácar is home to two statues in honour ir “mojaqueras”. The statue of “La Mojaquera” (Mojácar woman) has stood in front of the Church since 1989. Sculpted in marble and dressed in the typical attire, she holds the Arab scarf with her teeth and carries the water vessel that was used to carry the precious liquid from the fountain. Located in the Plaza Rey Alabez, next to the parking area, it is a bronze sculpture, symbolizing the woman changing their shoes when entering and leaving the village. You can read a “güajira mojaquera” (a popular folk song).

This international festival of classical music ranks among the most significant cultural events in Pilsen, and organised by the Pilsen Philharmonic Orchestra, it invites foreign and Czech stars to perform on stage here alike. While the programme changes annually, you can definitely look forward to great performances and unique experiences.

The Atlanta Botanical Garden is a stunning 30-acre escape in the middle of the city. Stroll through the tropical rainforest inside the Fuqua Conservatory, walk the treetop canopy on the Kendeda Walkway, or check out the ever-changing seasonal displays. If you're visiting in the evening, the garden often hosts special events like Garden Lights, Holiday Nights in the winter.
