The Cultural History Museum is located in the Rector’s Palace. A courtroom, dungeon and a scribe’s office are located on the ground floor. A numismatic collection of Dubrovnik coins, seals, weights, and a collection of watches are on the mezzanine level. Beautiful examples of furniture, portraits, uniforms, and an inventory from the Domus Christi pharmacy, as well as various kinds of weapons can also be seen.

On the western side of the capital, stretching over seven districts, the Vienna Woods are considered the green lung of Vienna. Easily reached with public transportation and perfect for a daytime excursion, the area offers great hiking trails, old castles and monasteries, a rich fauna and plenty of picturesque vineyard villages. While in Cologne, you can visit Germany's oldest city hall, with parts dating back to the 11th century. Over time, it has picked up a mix of styles—Gothic tower, Renaissance loggia, some modern touches. The 61-metre tower is covered in carved figures, including some cheeky ones from local history, and the bells chime four times a day. There’s also a mechanical face called the Platzjabbek that sticks its tongue out on the hour. Inside, the Hansasaal is the main historic hall—worth a look if it’s open.
