Certainly among the best beach lounges in the Brindisi area, Guna is a relaxing venue that plays unobtrusive jazz and operates on an à la carte basis — there is a cafe and restaurant. Sunbeds with soft mattresses set at a small elevation above the sea in a green area are at guests' disposal.

This is Porto Santo’s most popular walk, though it rarely feels crowded, especially if you go first thing in the morning. The well-marked PR1 trail is around 5 km return and threads through the island’s northeastern hills, crossing a protected Natura 2000 area where you can spot native plants, wildflowers, and seabirds. The route is moderately challenging, with some steady climbs, but nothing too demanding for anyone used to hill walking. The reward comes at the viewpoints. Terra Chã looks out over rugged cliffs and deep blue water, while Pico Branco, the island’s second-highest point, offers wide 360-degree views across Porto Santo and the Atlantic beyond. The whole hike typically takes under three hours at an easy, unhurried pace, and at the top, you'll find a few picnic areas if you want to recharge before heading back.

The Roman Theatre was built between the first and second century AD, on behalf of Quinto Petronio Modesto from Trieste and it can hold about 6,000 spectators. The statues that adorned the theatre are now preserved in the Town Museum.

The Rumskulla oak, also known as the Kvill oak, is an oak tree near Norra Kvill National Park in Vimmerby. It is a fine example of one of Europe's oldest and largest trees with an estimated age of 850 to 1,000 years. Proudly surviving the ages, it is a rare and magnificent representative of Sweden's dwindling population of significant ancient trees, with a circumference measuring an impressive 13 meters.
