The Weitzman National Museum of American Jewish History is the only museum in the U.S. dedicated exclusively to exploring and interpreting the American Jewish experience. The museum aims to foster a deeper connection of Jews to their heritage and inspire an appreciation for the diversity of this experience and the ideals of American freedom among people of all backgrounds. Visitors can enjoy a wealth of exhibits, including over 1,200 artifacts and documents from the museum's collection, 2,500 images, 30 original films, and 13 interactive media displays. Some of the notable artifacts on display include Einstein's pipe, Irving Berlin's piano, and Steven Spielberg's first camera.

This park contains the most prestigious Taoist temple in Yunnan. The serene Golden Temple standing on the Mingfeng Mountain is the largest bronze temple in China. It was built by General Wu Sangui, and dates back to the early Qing Dynasty (17th century). Rare plants and tea flowers flourish in this traditional Chinese-style garden. It has become a local traditional custom to enjoy the blooming flowers in the park every annual Temple Fair, which is held on the 9th day of every Lunar New Year.

Constructed by the end of the 18th century, the Tipu Sultan's Summer Palace is an elaborately decorated relic of Bangalore's royal past. Originally used as a summer retreat, the palace now serves as a detailed museum of Tipu Sultan's life and glorious conquests, while the Venkataramanaswamy Temple, a 300-year-old temple built by the Wodeyars, is right next door. The ruins of Bangalore Fort are also located a few steps away, bearing the testimony of Tipu's struggle against the British Raj in India.

There are two annual major events that bring international acts to the city and attract a large number of visitors.
