The Albayzín, also known as Albaicín, is composed of snaking corridors and alleyways that make up the old Arabian quarter of Granada. It is a pleasure just to wander the warren of streets that organically formed back in the Nasrid period (13th–15th centuries). The neighbourhood was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994, as an extension of the historic site of the nearby Alhambra.

The legendary Canal Street is often referred to as New Orleans' "Main Street." It serves as the perfect starting point for exploring the Crescent City, with scenic and historic sights just steps away. Many of Canal Street's historic buildings now house upscale hotels, such as the Ritz-Carlton, while the Shops at Canal Place offer a range of well-known brands. Canal Street also comes alive with parades during Mardi Gras and dazzles with stunning holiday lights during Christmas, making it a must-visit destination for travelers.

The Iraqi National Museum is dedicated to the rich history of Iraq and its ancient civilisations, including the Sumerians, Assyrians, and Babylonians. Its collections feature artefacts that span over 7,000 years of history. Unfortunately, many of these invaluable pieces were lost during the looting that occurred in the early days of the Iraq War in 2003. Since then, efforts have been underway to recover and restore these artefacts, and the museum continues to play a vital role in preserving and showcasing Iraq’s cultural heritage.
