Achaia Clauss is a historic winery founded in 1861 in the hills above Patras, renowned for producing the iconic Greek fortified wine, Mavrodaphne. Housed in a castle-like complex, it offers tours that guide you through its grounds, cooperage museum and legendary cellars, including the Imperial Cellar reserved for royalty. The experience culminates in a tasting focused on the Mavrodaphne variety, where you may have the rare opportunity to sample a century-old vintage directly from the barrel.

Dolphin Encounters give every visitor the opportunity to learn about the behaviours, anatomy, and the characteristics of these exceptional creatures in the picturesque setting of Anthony's Key Resort. The excursion starts with a a short introduction by their knowledgeable staff followed by a 30-minute encounter with bottlenose dolphins. The experience is ideal for families with small children and a great chance to take pictures with these friendly mammals.

Grotta Mangiapane is the biggest cave of the group Scurati's Caverns. Scurati is a little village with very ancient origins, as the numerous finds happened here can demonstrate. The cave takes its name from the family Mangiapane, who lived here for more than a century, indeed it hosts a very peculiar rural agglomeration composed of little squared houses. Totally different epochs merge together in this unique place. During Christmas period, Grotta Mangiapane hosts a big event called “Living Nativity”, an event where the agro-pastoral life comes alive with some 160 performers, including artists and craftsmen from all over Sicily.

The native home to the Philippines’s largest known crocodile at nearly 20 metres in length, the Crocodile Park is an important breeding centre as well as a popular tourist attraction. There are picnic areas and activities like horse-riding offered too.
