The MacRitchie Reservoir is Singapore’s oldest water reservoir. Its main purpose is to collect rainwater and provide drinkable water to Singapore’s residents. Additionally, the reservoir is the central feature in MacRitchie Reservoir Park. The MacRitchie Nature Trail is a series of boardwalks that vary in length and take you through the tropical rainforest. The TreeTop Walk — one of the park's main draws — is a suspension bridge that gives you a bird’s-eye view of the forest below. On your walk, you will definitely see some monkeys. They are definitely cute, but can be a little naughty, especially if you are carrying any food.

With a modern surf center, Varberg has consolidated itself as the premier surfing town in the Nordic region. There are a number of businesses that offer courses, rentals, and shops. These include a center in Apelviken that has become a natural meeting place for pros, beginners and everyone who wants to take part in the surfing life.

If the first thing you want to do after landing in Maui is take to the beaches, head to Baldwin Beach Park just out of historic Paia. It also has a Baby Beach for the youngest, and is a preferred place by the locals too, so will certainly help you get in the Hawaiian mood.
