The Red Sea International Film Festival (RSIFF) is an annual event, established to support the development of a film industry in Saudi Arabia. Launched in 2019, its primary focus is on new storytelling and emerging talent from Saudi Arabia, the Arab world, Asia and Africa. The festival’s main initiatives include the Red Sea Fund for financing projects and the Red Sea Souk, a dedicated industry market. Held in the historic Al Balad district, the festival presents a programme of international and regional films. It functions as a key platform for connecting local filmmakers with the global industry.

Teno Rural Park is located near the charming villages of El Palmar, Teno Alto, Los Carrizales, Las Portelas, and Masca. Bergsåker Racecourse, the country's fourth largest harness racing track and the true trotting metropolis of Norrland. Races are held year-round, with about 50 racing days every year. The biggest racing event is the Sundsvall Open Trot, held at the end of August each year. Besides harness racing, Bergsåker also annually hosts fairs, exhibitions, markets, and a variety of other events.

Kilmainham Gaol is one of the largest unoccupied gaols in Europe. It opened in 1796 as the new county gaol for Dublin and finally shut its doors as such in 1924. Today, the building symbolises the tradition of militant and constitutional nationalism, from the rebellion of 1798 to the Irish Civil War of 1922-23. The great collection consists of a wide variety of object types, including manuscripts, photographs, newspapers, weaponry, artwork, medals, uniforms and personal effects especially related to the political imprisonment in the 1916-23 period, as well as the experience of women during the Civil War.
