Saline Beach is St Barts’ untamed coastal masterpiece — a crescent of powdery sand where turquoise waves meet rugged hills in perfect harmony. The journey begins with a 200-metre trek through scrubland and over a low dune, rewarding visitors with a vista of undeveloped shoreline where the only distractions are seabirds and the rhythmic crash of surf. On a clear day, direct your gaze past the green dot of Île Coco and you'll just be able to spot St Kitts on the horizon. Come prepared: shade is scarce and facilities nonexistent. What you’ll find instead is raw beauty; the kind that draws naturists and photographers, all chasing that rare blend of wildness and tropical splendor. Time your visit for late afternoon when the light gilds the salt pond’s edges (the same salty pound that gave the beach its name), and you’ll understand why this beach remains the island’s best-kept escape.

Two kilometres from the town of Cuneo, Sanctuary Madonna della Riva rises 530 metres above sea level. A number of processions from different areas have taken place in the sanctuary. The painting of Madonna and Child with Saint Francis is one example of the priceless treasures that the sanctuary keeps.

Broughton Castle is a medieval manor house of the 14th century and home of Fiennes family, Lords Saye and Sele. The ownership of the castle has remained in the same family since 1447 and is situated in the village of Broughton which is about two miles south-west of Banbury. Simon Jenkins selected the place as one of only twenty to be awarded five stars in his book "England’s Thousand Best Houses".

The Bodleian Library is one of the greatest libraries in the world and one of the oldest libraries in Europe. It is a working library and the main research library of the University of Oxford. In Britain, it is the second in size only to the British Library with over 11 million items. The library is believed to hold millions of printed items as well as manuscripts.
