Calblanque Regional Park is a spot of rare natural beauty open to visitors all year round. This protected natural area boasts stunning landscapes, a beautiful shoreline with multiple small bays and coves, and a multitude of trails to explore. There is very little tourist infrastructure, however, so do make sure to bring along all necessary supplies - and perhaps a picnic!

Marineland Dolphin Adventure holds the distinction of being the world’s first oceanarium, opening its doors in 1938. This historic attraction has been captivating visitors for decades with its up-close experiences and educational programs. At Marineland, you can interact with dolphins through unique encounters, including swims and feeding sessions, or simply marvel at their intelligence and charm during demonstrations.

This excavation rivals the famous sites of Pompeii. Once home to around 400,000 residents, ancient Ephesus was built around the temple of Artemis — another marvel among the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. The ruins we see today primarily hail from the Roman era. The remnants of the Temple of Artemis stand outside the main ruin area, while the hill above is graced with the cathedral of Saint John, said to be the final resting place of the evangelist. Legend holds that Saint John lived in Ephesus alongside the Virgin Mary.

Originally built for the 2008 Olympic and Paralympic Sailing Competitions, the Qingdao International Sailing Centre has since become a sailing boat dock. You can rent a boat for a scenic tour around the bay or simply unwind at one of the nearby bars, enjoying a cold drink and the refreshing sea breeze.
