The garden on Rue Sant Vicens is a delightful place with shaded walking paths, a duck pond, exotic flowers, orange trees and oleanders — a pleasant green oasis within walking distance from Perpignan's major attractions.

During the 9th century this was the largest church in Spain and although now dwarfed by later and greater buildings, it remains of great significance in the history of Spanish religious architecture.
