Waller Sand is the latest leisure space in the city. It has been created at the end of the New Harbour district, on the site of a former harbour basin. The park's backdrop of industrial buildings and the historical landmark Molenturm, give it a unique urban charm and provide a wonderful setting to watch the sunset. Additionally, the park has a large sandy area which includes playgrounds and volleyball courts. It is easily accessible by tram or by the Weser ferry. If you plan to go there by foot, it's approximately a one-hour walk along the Weserpromenade.

Built in the 13th century, the Saint Petri Cathedral is one of the iconic symbols of Bremen, with its two soaring towers visible from almost everywhere in the city. The basilica is open to the public to discover the treasures of the Cathedral museum. Also, you can enjoy a magnificent panorama of the city from one of the towers. Last but not least, you can descend into the cellar, known as 'Bleikeller,' to view the authentic mummies on display there.

No supermarket can replace the charm of personal contact with a vendor or the excitement of an unpredictable purchase at the main Rijeka market, known as Placa. It developed in the 19th century, next to the seashore, right by the wooden pier where the local fishermen used to unload their catch and carry it in baskets to be sold at the market.
