The oldest indigenous-owned and managed arts centre in Australia, the Tandanya National Aboriginal Cultural Institute features exhibitions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders art from across Australia.

Linköping’s cathedral is Sweden’s best preserved medieval cathedral. There is much to discover here, the Gothic blind arcades with their remarkable stone figures, the glass sculpture Golgotha and Maria, which spreads its wonderful cloak of flowers out over us from one of the windows. This one-of-a-kind nature reserve is filled with deciduous forest, seaweed belts, pines and a bloomy open ground that borders a waterfilled quarry. It also showcases the rugged beauty of Karlshamn's granite and coastal gneiss. Rich in history, the land areas harbour ancient and cultural monuments, including a Stone Age settlement, graves, and stone burials from the Bronze and Iron Ages. Notably, remnants of the Per Albin Line, a 500 km long defensive line from the Second World War, add historical significance to the reserve. Submerged in the water area around Sternö and Boön, several shipwrecks contribute to the reserve's maritime allure.

The Blue Lagoon is without a doubt the most well-known geothermal spa in Iceland. The signature milky-blue water makes a stark contrast to the surrounding black lava fields and creeping grey moss. The spa is located in a lava field near Grindavík and is supplied by water used in the nearby Svartsengi geothermal power plant. The water temperature stays at 39°C year-round, snowfall or sunshine. Most visitors make the spa their first or last stop, since it's conveniently located only 15 minutes from the Keflavík International Airport (and around 30 minutes from the capital city).
