Säfsnäs Homestead Park, often considered Fredriksberg's best-kept secret, is a collection of historic buildings from the Säfsnäs region. These include a smokehouse, barn, pole shed and water mill, with 'Rik-Mats' cabin highlighting the early 1600s svedjefinnar era, associated with the practice of slash-and-burn agriculture. The park also commemorates the ironworks period from the 1720s to the early 1900s, featuring a piece of rail from the narrow-gauge railway. It showcases the 20th century’s sawmill and paper mill history, including a simple mill used for paper production. The park is a starting point for nature trails, including a 3.3 km route around Mellansjön, and hosts various activities like heritage walks and midsummer celebrations.

Archaeological Museum of North Macedonia is a museum which features rich exhibitions from various historic periods as well as ethnographic displays, complete with costumes and models of traditional houses. The coin collection is extremely impressive and it draws attention to all the visitors.

The Museum Kunstpalast, which was redesigned by Oswald Matthias Ungers and opened in 2001, is located in the centre of Düsseldorf, right on the Rhine river. Ever since it reopened, the house has gained a splendid international reputation with its high-quality exhibitions, such as Miró, Dalí, Warhol, Caravaggio, "Bonjour Russia", "Diana and Actaeon" and Per Kirkeby. The permanent exhibit too, whose spectrum ranges from medieval sculptures to an outstanding assortment of Baroque graphic works up to paintings of the Düsseldorf School of Painting and Expressionism, as well as contemporary photography, is held in great esteem all over the world. The Hentrich Glass Collection is also found in the Museum Kunstpalast, and is the most comprehensive glass collection in Europe, tracing the development of glass artistry without interruption from luxury glass objects of the pre-Roman period up to glass art from contemporary studios. The Robert Schumann Hall, a multifunctional hall offering a sophisticated program running from chamber music to cabaret, is also integrated into the museum.

Not only does Costa Maya have excellent conditions for diving and snorkeling, it also boasts a true rarity: Banco Chinchorro Biosphere Reserve is a coral reef located around 18 miles off the coast of Mahahual. As part of the Mesoamerican Reef, the second largest coral reef system in the world, it is home to a diverse array of marine life as well as dozens of sunken ships, some of which date back to the 16th century. You can find a multitude of dive centers along Mahahual's boardwalk, Malecón.
