Hard to miss and easy to linger in, this L-shaped square is basically an open-air museum. Grab a seat at a café (yes, it’s pricey, but the people-watching is worth every euro), and you’ve got front-row views of Palazzo Vecchio, the Fountain of Neptune, and the statue of Cosimo I on horseback. Just off to the side is the Loggia dei Lanzi, packed with Renaissance sculptures—all free to see, no ticket needed. Early mornings or late evenings are quieter if you want to take it all in without the daytime crowds.

The Winter Hiking Trails consists of approximately 70 kilometres of prepared trails. The trails are partly on the cross country trail map, available at the Information Office in St. Anton am Arlberg, Pettneu and Flirsch.

Approximately 60 kilometres west of Sundsvall, you'll find Flataklocken, which was designated as the Geographical Centre of Sweden's landmass through a centre-of-gravity calculation by KTH in Stockholm in 1947. This means that if you were to put Sweden on a needle, it would be in balance just over the mountain Flataklocken. It offers a vast 360-degree view of the beautiful landscape in Ljungandalen, and on clear days, one can see far towards the Sundsvall coast. At the summit, there are fire pits and a café open in the summer.

This Jewish grave yard was turned into a museum in 2007. With its over 1,000 tombs, the oldest dating back to the 1500's, this is one of the largest Jewish cemeteries in Europe.
