Toulon - Essential Information
Airport
The name of the airport is Aéroport de Toulon-Hyères. It lies 23 kilometres from Toulon. A taxi takes about 20 minutes. You can park a car for 20 euro 1-16 days.
Public transport
A large part of the centre in the Old Town is for pedestrians only. The bus company RMTT operates in Toulon and surroundings. Tickets can be bought at the kiosk on place de la Liberté. One day ticket for €5 – incl. the cableway. RMTT tickets are also valid on the company’s four boat services in the bay. Bicycles are carried free of charge if there is enough room.

A boat trip is a must. Either single trips with RMTT (see above) or departures with SNRTM from quai Cronstad (from April to end October)
These tours take you on a guided trip around the ships of the French Navy in the bay.There are also ferries from Toulon to Corsica with Corsica Ferries.
