See up to 90 colourful coral species and 500 types of fish while snorkelling in the crystal clear waters of Lord Howe Island at Neds Beach, Lagoon Beach, Old Settlement Beach, Erscott’s Hole and Blinky Beach.

Walking through the Historic Centre of Partenkirchen, each step leads you further into long ago times. Follow the tracks of the fresco painter Heinrich Bickel who decorated the „Fraundorfer“ Inn at Ludwigstraße with a gorgeous typical country wedding. Nearby, you will also find the local Werdenfels Museum. Miraculously, the former merchant’s building was not impaired by the Big Blaze of 1865. Nowadays, history and ancient customs of the Werdenfels Region are exhibited in the five-storyed house.

Those who live and work here say that you don’t really need to explain where the Jeker quarter is: Once you’re there, you’ll know. This is where the locals stroll the streets at their leisure, students read in the park, and you can spend a whole Sunday on a café terrace, a wisp of jazz music in the air in the background, and never get bored. And right through the middle of it, that impudent little river, the Jeker, flows brazenly on. Aker Brygge is a lively and very popular area situated right by the fjord. It has witnessed enormous development since the days when it used to be a shipyard up until the 80s. Now, visitors and locals come here for shopping, al fresco dining at one of the countless restaurants and bistros, or just to take a stroll along the waterfront. Tjuvholmen is an area located on a peninsula adjacent to Aker Brygge, between Pipervika and Filipstad. It has also undergone remarkable transformations throughout its history. Once a bustling dock, shipyard, and warehouse district, Tjuvholmen has evolved into a modern hub characterised by innovative architecture and bustling with stylish apartments and trendy restaurants. Tjuvholme also hosts many art galleries, a sculpture park, and a city beach. Here you'll also find the Astrup Fearnley Museum of Modern Art, housed in a spectacular wooden building designed by Renzo Piano.
