A seemingly endless expanse of white powdery sand and clear turquoise water, Playa las Coloradas is another of Cayo Coco's best and most popular beaches, as well as being home to several hotels, including the Melia Cayo Coco, Hotel Pullman and Hotel Sol Cayo Coco.

Sunrise Park offers a variety of activities for winter and summer visitors. During the winter months, hit the slopes and enjoy skiing or snowboarding on 65 trails across three mountains. In the summer, explore the scenic beauty with hiking, take advantage of ski-lift rides for panoramic views, experience the thrill of the new Sunrise Apache Alpine Coaster, or cast a line for a relaxing fishing adventure.

At the edge of historic Farley Hill National Park, green monkeys, iguanas, tortoises, and snakes wander around freely in the Barbados Wildlife Reserve. Plan to be there around 2 pm, when parrots, caimans, and maras are getting fed. The reserve’s admission also grants access to Grenade Hall Signal Station and Forest. Getting to the park takes a rough 35 minutes by car from the capital city.

Situated in the lush setting of the Botanical Gardens, Ulster Museum is all about art, archaeology, local history and natural sciences. Come here and admire their fine permanent collection, as well as rotating exhibitions and events that promote diverse voices and new perspectives. Dinosaur bones, ancient weapons, meteorites, shoe exhibits, ship models, musical instruments, historical documents and jewellery; there's just a little bit of everything. The time period and the range of topics covered are extensive, so you might even want to visit the museum twice.
