Known as the oldest Lutheran Church in the Americas, the Fredrick Lutheran Church was established in 1666 by Danish minister and coloniser, Kjeld Jensen. The yellow Georgian style building with its large staircase that you can visit today was opened in 1793. The earlier two buildings that were, unfortunately, destroyed by fire.

This venue is both a museum, dedicated to the history of ice hockey and a hall of fame. Fans of this popular winter sport that Canadians take very seriously will surely find plenty to keep busy with. Don't miss the Stanley Cup also on display here.

"Lighting Giants", Pula's new attraction since 2014, is a unique project in the world of lighting cranes of an operating shipyard, with sophisticated remote control system of lighting and scenography, and can be illuminated with 16 thousand different colour combinations. Enjoy this spectacular show and lighting display every evening on the hour from dusk till midnight.(from June 5 - September 15, every evening non stop from dusk till midnight).

First held in 1991, the Qingdao International Beer Festival has grown into Asia’s largest beer event. Every August, starting on the second Sunday of the month, the festival kicks off and runs for 16 days in the city’s Shilaoren National Tourism Resort. This sprawling 35-hectare 'Beer City' is built specifically for the occasion, where beer lovers from all over the world come together. While you can always grab a Tsingtao Beer in Qingdao, nothing compares to the carnival buzz of the festival. Expect a fun mix of live music, international brews, and plenty of opportunities to sample the local favourite—Tsingtao Beer, of course. One quirky Qingdao tradition to note: fresh beer is often sold in plastic bags. So, don’t be surprised when you see people strolling the streets with a bag of beer in hand. It's all part of the fun.
