County Kildare is home to the windswept Bog of Allen, and to a leisurely section of the restored Royal Canal. There’s a masterpiece of an 8th-century High Cross in Moone. Maynooth Castle anchors the leafy university town of the same name. Kildare is also home to one of Ireland’s great driving routes. Following the course of the Gordon Bennett Cup, which saw racing daredevils whizz through Kildare, Carlow and Laois in 1903, the 104-mile circuit recalls a time when Ireland’s speed limit was just 12mph. The county is a marvellous mix of old and new, of natural landscapes and precisely manicured gardens, of horseracing competitions and stylish fashion events.

The museum is located in Victory Park, near Downtown Dallas, and boasts five floors of exploration across eleven permanent exhibit halls. You’ll find state-of-the-art technology, such as video displays and 3D computer animation, as well as hands-on activities, interactive kiosks, and educational games designed to engage visitors of all ages. For younger children, there's even a dedicated children's museum, complete with an outdoor play space for extra fun.

The Sixth Floor Museum gives visitors an opportunity to explore one of America’s darkest moments: this is the location from which President John F. Kennedy was assassinated, now converted into a museum. Exhibits narrate the life, times and untimely death of president Kennedy. Also located in the museum is the Reading Room, where patrons can delve into audiovisual resources, artifacts and an endless supply of books.
