Cathedral City Classic is the largest Division One softball tournament in the nation, the NCAA Women's Softball Tournament, is played here every February at Big League Dreams Sports Park. This tournament features 35 top D1 programs.

Rosslyn Chapel, founded in 1446 as the Collegiate Church of St Matthew, is a masterpiece of stone carving shrouded in mystery. A one-hour guided tour will lead you through this spooky labyrinth, with costumed guides sharing dark tales of the city’s past inhabitants, from the desperate poor to the infamous Burke and Hare body snatchers. The Fountain of Life is a large stone fountain adorned with mosaic tiles and glass by the artist Jennifer Johnson. As a prominent landmark, the fountain represents the land and people of Cathedral City.
