There’s good reason some consider this park the ‘Serengeti of Tasmania’. It’s quietly one of the best places to see wildlife. Come at dusk and Forester kangaroos perform — grazing and bounding across long open plains.

Plateau Mont-Royal is simply the most beautiful and atmospheric neighborhood in Montreal, with colorful brick Victorian houses, trendiest coffee shops and coolest boutiques in the city. A walk in the area is sure to lift your spirits.

Visit the the lively, fragrant Bankerohan Market to take in the authentic atmosphere of a busy marketplace, stock up on fresh produce, sample some local fruit (durian is widely available) or grab a bite at one of the market's street food stalls. Morning (before noon) is the best time to visit.

Founded in the 16th century by the Spanish, Rincón is the oldest settlement not only of Bonaire but the entire Dutch Caribbean. Its location, in the valley, once provided shelter from pirates. Today, it offers great hiking options with breathtaking views. As a cultural centre, it is home to attractions such as the rock formations of Gruta Lourdes, a pilgrimage site, and the Kas Krioyo, an authentic Bonairean building that currently houses a museum. The island's only distillery, Cadushy, is also located here, and it is worth timing your visit so you can celebrate with the locals on Rincón Day on 30 April.
