El Cable Inglés is an iron architecture masterpiece. It is located next to the Levante dock on Almadrabillas beach. It was built with the purpose of abandoning rudimentary systems for loading the iron ore from the mines of Alquife in Granada. It consists of two distinct parts: the access connecting the railway station to the loading dock, and the actual dock through which trains could unload directly into the ships. For enthusiasts of architecture, a visit to the Cable Inglés is essential due to its innovative design and historical significance.

Kinsale is a picturesque historic town south of Cork, and can be your last (or second) stop on your Wild Atlantic Way journey. Highlights of the town include the 17th century Charles Fort and James Fort, the 13th century St. Multose Church, and Desmond Castle, also known as the "French prison" and home to a wine museum. Try to visit them all, but also save some time for a leisurely stroll in town, among its colorful streets and Georgian houses, and eat a delicious meal in one of its many quaint restaurants. Alfonsino Castle, also known as Red Castle, is located on the Island of St. Andrew, at the port of Brindisi. This fortification dates back to 1481 and it was completed in 1492 by Ferdinand I of Aragon. It was built in defence of the city from possible sea attacks.
