The Post Office was built in 1895 during the era of the gold rush. The interior has been modified, but the outside still features the originally constructed street frontages with colonnades on both levels and a central clock tower.

Bocas is one of the very few Caribbean surf spots with good sized waves. There may be better and bigger waves in the Pacific, but here, when you surf, you do it in turquoise waters, while you ride above colorful coral reefs or white sand. There are beach breaks, point breaks and reef breaks, lefts, and rights for all tastes and preferences. You can find breaks three minutes away from Isla Colon. The preferred surf spots are Wizard, Bluff, Punch, The Point at Carenero and Tiger Tail. It is important to visit these spots with somebody who knows the area, especially if you will be surfing over a reef break.

The Orchid Expo is an annual event in Boquete that takes place at the Flower and Coffee Fairgrounds around Easter time. Orchid lovers around the world have formed associations and clubs to collect and cultivate these exquisite flowers, which exist in thousands of varieties. More than just a chance to show off their beauty, the expo raises awareness of the threat to orchid plants by excessive logging. Plant exhibits, local handicrafts, conferences and cultural presentations are all part of the Expo.

Located along Flic en Flac to the south of Port Louis, this beach stretches for almost 8 kilometres, and boasts a coral reef that forms a beautiful lagoon with crystalline water. The whole village is quite developed, with 5-star hotels, restaurants and all the facilities and services you can expect from a major tourist destination.
