Go on a safari tour at Eriksberg's Wildlife Park and see wild animals in their natural habitat. Red deer, fallow deer, Père David’s deer, European bison, wild boar and moufflon roam freely in this unique nature reserve in the archipelago. The tour goes through a fascinating rocky landscape of oak woodlands, dense hornbeam woodlands and knotty conifers. There is a rich bird life as well, and one of the world’s largest stocks of the protected red water lily. The park consists of more than 925 hectares, of which 409 hectares of water. The fenced portion is about 900 hectares, which means that Eriksberg is one of northern Europe's largest wildlife reserves.

It is essential to take a walk around Derry’s beautifully preserved (and never breached) seventeenth century walls which surround the old city. This is a good way to get a feel for the city, and to look over onto estates on both sides of the divide. Guided tours available.

In and around Säfsen, there are 175 lakes, ponds and streams offering fantastic fishing opportunities all year round. Here, the seasoned sport fisher finds new challenges, and beginners can easily take their first step into fishing. There's also accessibility for anglers with disabilities. Caravelle Peninsula is a narrow strip of land that shoots out into the Caribbean waters from the east coast of Martinique. It is protected as a nature reserve and thus wonderfully unspoiled. It is home to a large number of animal and plant species, making it a fascinating place for a hike.
