Kungsportsavenyen, Gothenburg's main boulevard, mostly known as Avenyn, is not only a centre for entertainment, but this upscale neighbourhood also offers exclusive boutiques and clothing stores. It stretches from the Kungsportsbron bridge to Götaplatsen situated near the Museum of Art, the City Theatre, the Concert Hall, and the Poseidon statue. Avenyn is lined with shops, cosy cafés, renowned restaurants, and popular bars. It gets extra lively here in the summer when holidaymakers enjoy the bar and restaurant life, spilling onto the terraces, giving the atmosphere a very electric yet relaxing feel.

In 1864, when Timisoara was part of the Austro-Hungarian empire, the Jews of the empire were emancipated and in the same year, they were granted the right to build this impressive synagogue. It was turned into the Romanian Jewish History Museum years later.

Just east of Ha Long Bay is Bai Tu Long Bay. Both of these places share many of the same geological characteristics, the exception being that Bai Tu Long is a bit of a hidden gem and has a lot fewer tourists. This is what makes Bai Tu Long such an interesting alternative to northeastern Vietnam's most popular destination. With limestone karst islands just as impressive as those in Ha Long Bay, Bai Tu Long doesn't have as many grottos but is equally beautiful.
