Nagoya Castle is where the Tokugawa shogun made their home for over 250 years up until 1868, the year in which Japan’s partial isolation from the West came to an end with the beginning of the Meiji period. The castle was nearly destroyed in bombing raids of 1945 and authentically rebuilt only in 2018.

Known as the Venice of Portugal, Aveiro, located 57 km to the south of Porto, is a charming town surrounded by beaches, lagoons, and beautiful canals that run through it. It is easy to reach Aveiro: several trains leave Porto to Aveiro every day, and the journey takes about an hour.

Constructed in the Neo-Byzantine style between 1876 and 1883, when the country was a part of the Russian Empire, the Nativity of Christ Cathedral in Riga is the largest Orthodox church in the city. It has undergone several transformations over the years, being used as a planetarium and a restaurant during the Soviet Era. However, it has since been fully restored as a church and now holds regular Orthodox services. It has also one of the biggest organs in Europe with 6,768 pipes.

Cemetery Al-Mu'alla, also known as Jannat al-Mu'alla, is a historic burial ground in Mecca, located north of the Grand Mosque. It is revered as the final resting place of several key figures from early Islam, including the Prophet Muhammad's first wife, Khadija, his grandfather, and other relatives. Access to the cemetery is restricted; only men may enter, and even for them, visits are typically limited to funeral services to prevent practices resembling grave veneration. Women can view the site only from the road overlooking its perimeter.
